President- Relay for Life

​

Omega Phi Alpha teamed up with a fraternity to put on a booth at Relay for Life. Our booth was Hungry Hungry Hippos, which was awarded best booth of the night. Also, we had fundraisers, trivia night, and a lip-sync battle to raise money for Relay for Life.

Permanent- Mental Health Awareness

​

Sisters brought awareness of mental health to members of the sorority and the students of the university. Our project was for students to write positive thoughts on board and to shred their negative thoughts. We also did a photoshoot where sisters took pictures with empowering signs.

​

Nations- ​Support Our Troops

​

Sisters will provide supplies and package necessities that troops need overseas. Sisters wrote Valentine's Day card to send to troops to let them know they are loved and appreciated.

University- ​Helping Students De-stress

​

Sisters created a ball pit for college students to be able to de-stress. We made stress balls and handed them out to students before finals, so they had a way to de-stress. 

​

Flagstaff- Crafting with Hozhoni

​

Sisters hosted a craft day at the Hozhoni center. During this event, we made spring flowers and friendship bracelets with the buddies from NAU’s Best Buddies (aka Pine Pals). Everyone had a great time, showed their best craft skills, and had lots of laughs!

​

Members- Stress-Free Activites

​

Sisters relaxed by painting while watching a Bob Ross tutorial. We learned how to defend ours by taking a Krav Maga class. Then, we learned how to get our resumes and cover letters in order through a workshop!
